Sea Star Cottage

Sea Star Cottage is a charming two-bedroom cottage overlooking Indian Harbour and it’s islands. The cottage is over one hundred years old but has been completely restored a few years ago and is now a wonderful combination of old and new. This is the ideal place to spend a quiet week and truly get away from it all.

The main floor of this cheerful cottage has a living room (with seating for four) that enjoys a view over the water. The open plan dining area and well-conceived kitchen are bright and fully equipped. The bathroom has all new fixtures, including a combination bathtub/shower, and a stacking washer and dryer. Upstairs are the two bedrooms; both with queen sized beds.

Soak up the sun on the large back deck, or barbeque your meal on the propane grill.

A wooded path leads to the backside of the island, which looks out to the mouth of St. Margaret’s Bay and the open ocean beyond. Here you can sit on white granite boulders, and rarely see another soul. It is a great place to whale watch – you might spot a minke or humpback whale swimming by.

Just a few minutes walk down the road is Paddy’s Head Beach, a small and lovely sandy beach with crystal clear water. This beach is known to be one of the best locations in the province for scuba diving and snorkeling.
